Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth removed from PlayStation Store in the west as license expires

Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception / Mask of Truth

The PlayStation 4 and PS Vita versions of strategy RPG and visual novel hybrid Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and continue Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth was removed in the western areas of the PlayStation Store.

A representative of Atlus, who has published both titles in the West, confirmed to Gematsu that the titles have been removed because Atlus’ license rights have expired. Atlus had no information on whether the games would return to the digital store window.

Gematsu contacted developer Aquaplus as well as PC version publisher DMM Games for more information. However, it is currently the weekend in Japan and we will probably not hear early on Monday.
