USWNT logarithmic partial agreement on working conditions

A federal juez approves a partisan agreement between players from the United States National Women’s Selection and the Football Federation for equal working conditions.

The agreement is in place for the footballers to appeal their salary claims.

R. Gary Klausner, Juez de Distrito de los Estados Unidos para Central de California, notify both parties of his approval of the agreement, which is centered in the advertisements of labor conditions under Title VII of the Law of Civil Rights.

These working conditions include the use of flights, the selection of accommodation, the number of staff and accommodation in hotels.

“We complain that the approval of laboratory conditions has been approved by the USWNT judges for many years,” said Molly Levinson, a spokesman for the judges.

“Ultimately, these athletes have access to facilities, training, attention and professional support, which is a necessary step in the long run and hard work to create women’s football”.

Levinson points out that the judges now appeal the aspect of the equal pay of his claim, in which the judge Klausner had allegedly failed in favor of the USSF.

“Now that this has been done, we intend to appeal the salary equalization decision, which does not include the fact that the judges received a lower salary than the men who did the same work,” the statement said.

“We are compromising as always with our work to log the wage equalization that we are legally doing”.

In a posterior statement to the decision, the USSF states that it intends the USWNT to proceed with the appeal, pending a bailiff’s resolution.

“US Soccer is 100% compromised with the remuneration equalization. The USWNT allowance is the same as the compensation given to our male players for all of US Soccer’s controlled games.

“We are looking forward to seeing you soon, and we hope the USWNT accepts our invitation very soon,” he said.
