R&B singer Usher is getting flattered on Twitter because he allegedly used fake money with his own name and face on it in a strip club.
However, the club tells Page Six that this is a big misunderstanding.
The cash, valued at $ 100, $ 20 and $ 1, was previously filled on April 3 on Usher’s official social media channels – in a transparent bag – called ‘Ushbucks’ by one guard on the social media site.
The story began with a woman who went on beel0ove on Instagram, who posted photos of the money on her private account on Monday.

A friend of hers shared it and noticed both the strip club – Sapphire Las Vegas – and the gossip website The Shade Room, who later posted it on their own Instagram. From there, the star’s alleged attempt to launch his own currency quickly spread across social media and tended to Twitter by Monday afternoon.
However, Sapphire’s director of marketing, George M. Wilson, IV, reached out by email for comment, ‘Usher was a true gentleman and a great guest at the club.

“He and his crew converted thousands of real dollars to give the girls dancing on stage a fee, leaving a generous fee for the staff!”
“Apparently someone on his team left a few Usher dollars on the floor to promote his Vegas residency,” Wilson continued. “This is where the confusion seems to have set in. But real cash has been used for tips. We would love to house him again.”
Usher, 42, announced a Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace – which begins in July – in September. Ironically, he shows in his most recent post that he’s wearing a $ 1 bill bucket hat.

The singer has yet to weigh the burgeoning scandal in public. His representative was not available for comment.
