US sets new record for daily deaths from COVID-19 by more than 3,800

According to a Johns Hopkins University study, the United States on Wednesday set another record for most coronavirus deaths in one day, with 3,865.

The death toll only increases as cases and hospitalizations also increase. More than 132,000 Americans are in the hospital with COVID-19, also a record, as the number continues to climb, according to the COVID Tracking Project. The country has an average of more than 200,000 new businesses every day.

According to Johns Hopkins, an incredible total of more than 361,000 Americans died from the virus.

Many Americans are tired of pandemic restrictions, despite requests from public health officials to enforce them. Many governors were also reluctant to impose new restrictions.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel with vaccinations, but the proliferation effort is starting slowly as Trump administration officials say they are speeding it up.

But with months until the vaccine becomes widely available, a new strain of the coronavirus poses an even greater threat, as it is considered more contagious, but not more deadly.

The strain has already been found in several states, and experts believe that it will clearly become very prominent as it can be more easily spread.

Even without the new tribe still dominating in the US, hospitals in some areas are already overwhelmed, especially in Los Angeles. Ambulance staff there were recently instructed to transport some patients with a low chance of survival to hospitals due to capacity issues.
