(Reuters) – The United States has administered 205,871,913 doses of COVID-19 vaccines across the country since Saturday morning and distributed 264,499,715 doses, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Saturday.
These figures are higher than the 202,282,923 doses of vaccines released at 258,502,815 doses by April 16, according to the CDC.
The agency said 129,494,179 people had received at least one dose, while 82,471,151 people had been fully vaccinated as of Saturday.
The CDC contains dual-dose vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson’s single-shot vaccine from 6 p.m.
U.S. federal health agencies on Tuesday recommended suspending the use of the J&J COVID-19 vaccine for several days after six women under the age of 50 developed rare blood clots after receiving the shot.
A total of 7,777,177 doses of vaccines were administered in long-term care facilities, the agency said.
