The Vice President of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), Ubaldo Córdova Figueroa, lamentó hoy, miercoles, que claustrales Representative de la Junta Universitaria hayan abandonado una reunion que tenían pautada con el presidente de la institution, Jorge Haddock.
Equally, Córdova Figueroa justified that the UPR’s Governing Union is conceding a Haddock cathedral square as part of the agreement reached when it takes office as president in 2018.
“We lament that some members of the Junta Universitaria have not approved an important event to bring their knowledge and valuable sums to the benefit of the teachers”, said the academic.

“This event has reprogrammed our petition. Our objective is to continue developing these activities with the goal of strengthening and improving, in short and wide space, the University, through a process of transformation of institutional culture”, agreed.
