UPR commences management for vacant employees of the university system

The President of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), Dr. Jorge Haddock, informs the best teachers that the Central Administration initiates the management to facilitate the voluntary vacancy of teachers and non-teachers of the university system.

“As we hear from the outbreak provoked by the COVID-19 pandemic, we take proactive measures to prevent contact between our students and employees. As a first step, following the recommendations of the health authorities, we will identify the teaching staff and the teaching interested in vacancies, in a way that facilitates the logistics of the evacuation process of our population. I am confident that this management will be more efficient, in addition to protecting health and safety, we will be able to return the classes in the formality presented next semester which will start in August of 2121 “, Haddock said, anticipating that in recent meetings to realize proof that the virus is detected.

For its part, the dean of the Inquiry into the Recinto of Medical Sciences of the UPR, Dr. Carmen D. Zorrilla, states that “it is important that the staff of the university community complete the form online.
