The Chargers requested an interview with the Giants’ offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, like Ian Rapoport of NFL.com tweets. The former Cowboys coach would be one of several candidates to be questioned after the dismissal of Anthony Lynn.

Garrett set a regular season record of 85-67 for the Cowboys during the nine seasons. Although they were short in the playoffs, Garrett remains a very respected offensive thought. He also played quarterback in the league for almost 15 years, which made him a good choice to develop the youngster Justin Herbert. Of course, the past year has not been a banner season for the Giants, but there is a lot of debt to go around in Northern New Jersey.
The Chargers will also look to the offensive coordinator of the Bills Brian Daboll, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL.com (on Twitter). Daboll is also being targeted by the Jets, who have taken a closer look Josh Allentransformation in 2020.
