Update whether Peacock ads will appear during WWE PPVs

After PWInsider spoke to a PR representative from Peacock, no commercial interruptions will be inserted during the upcoming WWE PPVs.

Sunday’s Fast track PPV will be the first WWE PPV on Peacock, and it will also stream on the WWE network. As noted, WrestleMania 37 (April 10 and 11) is the first WWE PPV to stream exclusively on Peacock in the US

WWE was officially launched on Peacock earlier this week with some new episodes and series being released (schedule here).

The report also noted WWE content streaming on demand would include ads.

There is a Peacock Premier Plus package for $ 9.99 that contains no ads, but it has not been made clear whether WWE on-demand programming will still have ads or not below that level. In an article by Variety, it was reported that Peacock contains only five minutes of advertising per hour.

WWE’s entire library is expected to be available SummerSlam end of August. The WWE network will no longer be available to US customers from Monday, April 5th.
