UPDATE: Officials in California announce that fully vaccinated out-of-state visitors are welcome in theme parks

Earlier today, we reported that Disneyland had not changed its policy on admitting out-of-state guests.

Now a California Department of Public Health spokeswoman has confirmed InPark Magazine that “people who have been fully vaccinated outside the state may now participate in activities restricted to visitors in the country.”

According to Scott Gustin, this announcement from the CDPH do theme parks include. However, the policy regarding Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood in this regard remains unchanged.

It remains to be seen whether Disneyland or Universal Studios Hollywood will update their policies to align with the California Department of Public Health and allow out-of-state guests to return to the parks. Universal Studios Hollywood reopens for California residents on April 16. Disneyland will reopen on April 30.
