Update 1.3 release date and leak new character banners – HITC

Genshin Impact was one of the best games of 2020, whether on console, computers or mobile devices, and we received version 1.2 as an early Christmas present to get Albedo and the Dragonspine environment. Now the second part of the version takes place with the arrival of Ganyu, but some people are looking forward to the further future and therefore want to know what the release date for update 1.3 is. Here you will find everything we know about the update date 1.3 for Genshin Impact, and you will also find the leaked new character banners.

Before version 1.2 comes to an end and is followed next month, players should note that there is a Lost Riches event with Iron Coins available until January 18th. This event offers players the opportunity to have a Mini Seelie pet as a companion, so you do not want to miss out if you want to follow a pink, blue or a golden circle.

Although the Mini Seelie Pet is available for a limited time, below you will discover everything we know about the release date for Genshin Impact Update 1.3, and you will also find the leaked new character banners.

Genshin Impact Update 1.3 new characters

One of the new characters and banners for updating Genshin Impact 1.3 according to leaks is Xiao.

In addition to Xiao, another one of the new characters and banners for Genshin Impact update 1.3 is allegedly Hu Tao.

It is important to note that none of these banners have been confirmed by miHoYo.

What we do know about update 1.3 is that it will come with an event called Lantern Rite. Not much else has been confirmed other than a release window, but the prospect of Xiao and Hu Tao has excited fans.

Xiao was a playable character in the closed beta of the game, but in the meantime, Hu Tao is excited about fans because of her leaked skills and the well-known Japanese voice actress.

When will Genshin Impact update 1.3 appear?

There is no release date for update 1.3 of Genshin Impact other than February.

However, it may be possible that the Genshin Impact update 1.3 may be on February 3rd.

This is because version 1.1 appeared on November 11 with version 1.2 on December 23, and both days were Wednesdays.

In addition, miHoYo’s roadmap plans – at least for the first three spots – are to update the game every six weeks and February 3 is six weeks from December 23rd. However, it could be seven weeks like version 1.2, so the date could rather be February 10th.

Again, the above is not official at all, as the only confirmation from miHoYo is that the third version is planned in February.

However, the Ganyu banner is scheduled to end at 2 next month, so update 1.3 should not be far off.
