E3 2006 was a big event for Nintendo. After its GameCube successor was formally announced in 2005 under the code name “Revolution”, E3 was the first time that press could formally try the Nintendo Wii. If you were ever curious to see what it looks like, several videos have now made their way online.
Released by Twitter account Forest of illusion, here’s a lot of footage to stream through, spread over 32 separate videos. The most interesting thing is that they loaded up an hour early Super Mario Galaxy game, which was only released in November 2007.
Wii Sports, Wii Play and Wii Music can also be spotted among others, and these new uploads also include unknown demo Wii Sports: Airplane. Although the Wii was Nintendo’s star of the show, there are also several DS demos, including early look Star Fox Command, Final Fantasy III and Yoshi’s Island DS.
