The United States Embassy has donated 200 million units to the Dominican Republic to enforce the National Vacation Journal against COVID-19.
The donation was made by the Center for Operations of Emergencies (COE), by the Command Sur estadunidense in search of the actions that the Dominican Republic has taken to radiate the COVID-19.
The director of the COE, General Juan Manuel Méndez, praised the Embajada, in the name of President Luis Abinader and Vice-President Raquel Peña, the donation of the ladies who spoke in a significant manner to the Jornada de Vacunación.
As well as the Minister of Health, Daniel Rivera, the fraternity and cooperation between the COE and the Ministry and the approval of the agreement of the women.
“Vice President Raquel Peña, in his condition as President of the Gabinete de Salud, is very pleased with this donation and for us it means a great contribution to the country”, the Minister said in his speech.
