United 0-2 City | Carabao Cup City beat United in Manchester derby

Manchester City advanced to the finals of the Carabao Cup after a 2-0 win over neighbors Manchester United Wednesday night at Old Trafford.
The match was goalless at halftime, with Kevin De Bruyne goes closest to opening the points for both sides as he hits the post from the edge of the penalty area.
City did find the breakthrough shortly after the break, with John Stones ghost in to convert a free kick on the back post.
United was undone with another solid piece seven minutes before, as Fernandinho led a burst of past Dean Henderson after De bruyne‘s corner.
With Tottenham Hotspur beat Brentford in the other semi-final on Tuesday night, Pep Guardiola will fight with Jose Mourinho for the Carabao Cup trophy in the final at Wembley Stadium in April.
When the match comes, City will win the competition for the fourth consecutive season.
