UNC Health does not expect long queues at vaccine clinics :: WRAL.com

– Many people are frustrated with how vaccines are administered across the Triangle. Some sites had to turn down seniors waiting in long lines. Others were forced to wait longer than 5 hours in the queues.

Cars arrive at 04:30 for transit vaccine clinics

On Monday, UNC Health opens its vaccine clinics, but does not expect long queues. People will have to make appointments before coming to the clinic.

On Monday morning, 850 people will be vaccinated at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.

More than 10,000 coronavirus vaccines are scheduled for this week at UNC Health clinics for people 65 and older.

The appointments are full this week, so health officials suggest looking for more appointments next week. If UNC receives more vaccine doses, more appointments will open.
