UK charts: FIFA 21 recovers best spot and links titles, despite this week’s week’s sales

EAs FIFA 21 regained first place in the UK charts for the week ending December 26 and dethroned the previous top dog, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. FIFA 21 sold 8% more physical copies compared to last week.

The afflicted Cyberpunk 2077 dropped to eighth place (it was the third week last week), and several evergreen Switch titles also dropped their sales figures – but unlike CD Project’s title, they raised the cards instead of dropping.

Animal crossing: new horizons shot from fifth to third place, despite sales falling by 20% compared to last week. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe also moved the chart up to fourth, though it sold 8% less than last week. Ubisoft’s Dans net 2021 28% of its sales rose, rising just one place to seventh Super Mario 3D All-Stars (to ninth, despite a drop of 25%) and the Switch version of Minecraft (to tenth from eleventh after losing 26% of its sales week-on-week).
