By the end of 2019, the Young Bucks decided to take a breather for the toxicity of Twitter. This decision comes after a strong criticism of the main event between the Dark Order and the Bucks Dynamics, along with AEW which suffered its first rating loss to NXT.
Following last night’s (April 7) episode of Dynamics, the Young Bucks indicated that they might leave Twitter again.

Last night’s main event on Dynamics had a corner in which the clashing Young Bucks turned Jon Moxley on the heel. Our reviewer at Cageside is not a fan of The Elite soapie, but I still have no good idea how it was received by the bigger pro wrestling fandom. The Bucks’ tweet indicates that there is a lot of negative feedback.
But the tweet also clearly seems like a job to me. They just turned heels, and now the heels say fans need to stop being so toxic and tweeting mean things at them. That’s how heels should do it, no?
This approach might make it less effective the next time the Young Bucks really need a break from a toxic social media platform, but for now it seems to me that they are generating a bit of buzz due to a controversial situation in the past and trying to fade. the lines of kayfabe and the reality in the process.
