An important welterweight match between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad at UFC Vegas 21 was the second game on Saturday that ended with no decision after a foul.
Referee Herb Dean waves from the match to the 0:18 point of the second round, shortly after Muhammed takes a nasty eye poke that sends him into pain to the canvas. The unfortunate end occurred five times after the main opener of the event ended in no decision when Eryk Anders landed an illegal knee on the head of a grounded Darren Stewart. Including the illegal knee of Petr Yan who crowned Aljamain Sterling as the new bantamweight champion at UFC 259, it was the third eight-off win to end in one week with an offense.
