Ubisoft Raises Lady Dimitrescu of Resident Evil Village with Assassin’s Creed’s Eivor

Earlier this month, Capcom unveiled the official height of Lady Dimitrescu, one of the main antagonists from Resident Evil Village. At 9’6, the character towers over protagonist Ethan Winters, as well as just about every other video game hero, including the clues of the Assassin’s Creed franchise! On Twitter, Ubisoft posted a picture of Dimitrescu comparing her height to Eivor and Basim of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Dimitrescu’s character fascinated her with much of the Resident Evil fanbase, and it seems Ubisoft was all too eager to take on the memes that have become increasingly common over the past month!

The Tweet from Ubisoft can be found below.

It may seem a little strange to Ubisoft to promote Capcom’s upcoming entry in the Resident Evil franchise, but it seems like the two publishers are currently having a good relationship. This month, Ubisoft’s The Section 2 has a kick-off event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise. Until February 15, players can receive items based on the first three games in the Resident Evil franchise, including Leon S. Kennedy’s RPD outfit. It’s a little unlikely that Resident Evil and Assassin’s Creed will eventually get a crossover of their own, but anything seems possible!

Beyond the character’s height, there’s still a lot Resident Evil fans do not know about Lady Dimitrescu. The character and her daughters will play a central role in Resident Evil Village, and players will be forced to deal with it as they drive through Castle Dimitrescu. Although the fanbase clearly loves the villain at the moment, it remains to be seen if that will still be the case if players are forced to go with her. Of course, Eivor would probably fight the villain a lot easier than Ethan would!

Resident Evil Village appears May 7 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. In the meantime, you can see all of our previous coverage of the game here.
