Tyson Fury in defense of Conor McGregor after the latter’s recent defeat against Dustin Poirier by UFC 257.
The British boxer publicly agreed Mcregor that the main reason behind his loss was his inactivity before last week’s fight.
“[McGregor] done [use inactivity as an explanation for his defeat], and he knocks to the right, ” Anger said Gareth Davies.
“Conor McGregor fought in 2016, then he spent two years out and then he fought Khabib [Nurmagomedov].
‘Then he had two more years out, and then he fought [Donald] Cerrone.
‘Then he had another year out, and then he fought with this man, [Dustin] Poirier.
‘So, inactivity kills the cat, no doubt about it.
“If someone was active – fighting, fighting and in camps – and one was on the bench, it’s not good.”
