We are getting closer to an open America where quarantine mandates will be a thing of the past, but how far they are in the future remains unclear. Within the Black community, there have been discussions about the skepticism surrounding the vaccine, especially when the historical context of black people is used as medical experiments in America. Perry sat down with CBS this morning to talk about the special while telling why he decided to get both doses of the vaccine. “I’m not taking this vaccine because I want you to take it, I want to give you the information so you can make your own choices,” he said. the media magnate. “I think that’s what it’s about, education and information.” Recognize Perry and it can ‘[raise] flags for us as an African-American people “but he still believes that education is the key.

The filmmaker admitted that he also did not trust the vaccine when it was first announced, but after doing his research, he was more comfortable with the process. “I think it’s just important for people to know that if you take your chances with Covid, you will never know how it’s going to affect you, and it can affect your health in the long run.”
