Two new 5G-enabled Nokia smartphones could be launched on April 8

HMD Global is expected to launch a handful of smartphones in the coming weeks, and judging by the latest reports, it appears that the Finnish company is betting a lot on 5G. There are rumors that at least two affordable Nokia smartphones will be launched on April 8, Nokia X10 and Nokia X20, at least according to HMD’s official preview. However, the launch event launched on April 8 is not just about these two smartphones, as HMD is expected to unveil a few other devices as well, including the Nokia G10. Marvel fans will be delighted with the fact that the X-Series phones are known internally as Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver, the two brothers that recently appeared in WandaVision.

In terms of specifications, Nokia X10 and Nokia X20 are not too impressive with one exception: they both have features 5G support. Since they are listed at Geekbench, we know that it will likely be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 5G processor.

NPU reports that Nokia X20 is expected to pack 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory, while the Nokia X10 will have the same amount of RAM but only 32 GB storage. The former is available in blue and sand, while the latter is available in green and white color options.

In terms of pricing, Nokia X10 and Nokia X20 will not be as cheap as we would expect if they take into account their specifications, but the slightly higher price is probably due to the fact that they offer 5G connectivity. Either way, the X10 would cost € 300, while the X20 would cost no more than € 350.
