Two more private jet realtors start Capitol riot

Two other real estate agents who took a private plane to Washington DC for a rally on Jan. 6 that ended in the riot at the Capitol building have been arrested.

Jason Lee Hyland (37) of Frisco, Texas and Katherine ‘Katie’ Schwab (32) of Colleyville were featured in several social media posts on the plane they shared with co-real estate agent Jenna Ryan, who not only attracted attention for the boasted. about the private flight, but also for posting a video of herself in the middle of the offense and saying, ‘You all know how to hire your realtor!’

She and her traveling companions are facing several federal charges.

Hyland and Schwab were both charged Thursday with entering or staying in a restricted building without legal authority and disorderly conduct on Capitol Grounds.

In an earlier interview, Ryan suggested that Hyland and Schwab became a couple during the trip. Hyland’s lawyer said in a court in which his client filed during his recent court hearing at Schwab, reports The Dallas Morning News.

Hyland organized the ‘Patriot flight’ from Denton Enterprise Airport, about 45 miles north of Dallas.

“It will be historic, regardless of the outcome,” he said in a text message to the group, which includes a fourth person who has not been identified. He claims he knows Ryan and Schwab only via Facebook.

They posted photos of themselves on the flight and landing at Manassas Regional Airport in Virginia.

Hyland and Schwab appear in a Facebook live video posted by Ryan as they walk from the protest near the White House to the Capitol. He said the FBI group was back at their hotel after arriving at the Capitol and seeing no stage, and only one food cart.

When they saw on television that the Capitol had been violated, the group took back an Uber and said along with the crowd that had entered the building. Schwab can be seen on several surveillance photos holding his cellphone in the crowd.

Hyland claimed he asked a Capitol police officer if he could enter and he said ‘everyone is’. But he told the FBI he only stayed and left for a short time after hearing a loud noise like a flash. Hyland’s property license is listed as ‘inactive’ in state records, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Schwab told investigators she was pushed into the building by crowds.

In a conversation that FBI agents discovered on Facebook, Schwab allegedly said that she had entered the Capitol and that the troops of the National Guard were backing away when the crowd entered.

“They did not fight us at all … because it was not necessary,” Schwab wrote according to the criminal charge. Referring to a woman who was shot as she tried to crawl through a broken window near the living room, Schwab continued: “After the girl was shot and killed, we went to hell.”

She told the FBI she thinks Ryan’s videos make members of the group look ‘bad’.

Her employer apparently agreed. The Century 21 office where she worked posted to Facebook on January 7 that he was aware of her posts. “Such behavior is not in line with the policies or values of our company. This agent is no longer affiliated with Mike Bowman, Century 21. ”
