Just yesterday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sit down with Oprah for a long-awaited tell-all interview that ended up being more revealing than most expected. It discusses everything from their wedding to Meghan’s treatment by the press and alleged racism aimed at the Duchess of Sussex. Meghan Markle bravely admitted that she struggled with mental health issues that drove her to suicidal thoughts. There was, of course, the wedding on television, but Meghan and Harry apparently also got married in secret earlier. Game of Thrones style …

Kate Middleton made Meghan cry?

Oprah asked Meghan about a story that circulated in the British tabloids and said that Meghan made Kate Middleton cry. It was a strange story that drowned out all sorts of horrible headlines from the infamous tabloid newspaper in the UK.

According to Meghan, it was the other way around. Kate made her cry over complaints about flower girl dresses.

The crown is going to be good

The whole internet has been watching, and responding to the drama of the undoubtedly an incredibly compelling season of The Crown, we would have come this far.

Writers for next season’s Netflix hit The Crown have plenty of new material to work with.

Meghan is related, but did she not Google her future husband?

Many viewers mentioned that Meghan was friendly and that she did an excellent job during the interview, etc.

“Meghan did not google the royal family. Meanwhile, I see a guy in the grocery store and 30 minutes later I will have his great-aunt’s house on Zillow moved up,” a Twitter user joked.

Stop taking his calls?

People were shocked at Prince Harry’s revelation that his father, Prince Charles, was no longer taking calls.

Most of the tweets surrounding this interview were reaction shots, exactly like this. To be honest, it makes sense. This was not your typical softball celebrity interview.

The British press

In the aftermath of the interview, the British press, which was particularly appalling about Meghan Markle in particular, began. It was not long before Piers Morgan, a journalist who was particularly critical of Markle, acted.
