Tweets from President Trump’s administration, which include controlled handles including @WhiteHouse, @POTUS, @VP, @FLOTUS and @PressSec, must first be archived by the National Archives and Records Administration, which will store the activity of the social media accounts. The history will be publicly available for viewing and will have the number ’45 ‘at the end of each handle, referring to Trump’s tenure as the 45th President of the United States.

The handle is for Doug Emhoff, the husband of Elected Vice President Kamala Harris, who made history as the first woman in the role.

Twitter has warned users following the official bills that the choices will not automatically change once the president, Joe Biden, and his staff take over.
