Twins place 3 on COVID list, choose Luke Farrell

The Twins have placed some outfielders – Max Kepler and Kyle Garlick – as well as left-handed Caleb Thielbar on the COVID-19 injured list, the team announced. Kepler tested positive for the virus, manager Rocco Baldelli announced Do-Hyoung Park by MLB.com and other reporters. Garlick tested positive over the weekend, while Thielbar is on the list as close contact.

The Twins have been hit hard by COVID over the past few days as their matches against the English were postponed on Saturday and Sunday. The club would face Athletics earlier on Monday, but they could not play then either. However, the Twins will perform with a double header in Oakland again on Tuesday.

To fill their vacancies, the twins reinstated the ranger Brent Rooker of the 10-day IL, left added Lewis Thorpe as the 27th man for their double head, remember the field link Travis Blankenhorn and selected correctly Luke Farrell. The 29-year-old Farrell appeared from 2017-20 with four different teams – most recently Texas – and combined for an ERA of 5.00 in 63 overs. The Twins signed him during the off-season for a minor league deal.
