I did not see it, do not ask me to find out what happened.

But “The Bachelor” dropped Monday night with “The Women Tell All” to its lowest rating this season and the second lowest of all time.

This is the 12th year of ‘The Bachelor’ and the 25th ‘season’. It was also an overall disaster of the show with a racism scandal that brought the whole business down.

Matt James is the first Black Bachelor, and there is nothing wrong with him. But his apathetic approach to the contestants is followed by the choice of a white woman who apparently had a racist past.

Then host Chris Harrison was interviewed by former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay, and the results were explosive. Harrison has been replaced for a former NFL player who is black for the final show, which is live. Then Lindsay gets a little setback because she said all the right things and announces that she is distancing herself from the franchise. Could things have gone more wrong?

Monday night’s episode reached only 4.69 million viewers and also dropped the key demo. The program lost about 800,000 viewers from the previous week. It is steep! ABC and the production have to worry that they really destroyed their small business. I doubt Chris Harrison will come back from this.
