Senior military officials and the Department of Defense reprimanded the Fox News host for part of his show in which he made fun of women serving their country.
Carlson addressed the controversy in his program on Thursday night and complained about the ‘hostile’ treatment he received.
“Today, the Department of Defense launched a major and coordinated PR offensive against this show,” he claims.

Right-wing TV host Joe Biden made fun of them by saying that the US military had created uniforms to suit women and flight suits for pregnant women.
‘So we have new hairstyles and maternity suits. Pregnant women are going to wage our wars. “This is a mockery of the U.S. military,” Carlson said earlier this week.
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin shared the same “disgust” expressed by many military leaders over the comments.
The senior enlisted leader at the U.S. Space Command, Master of the Marine Corps, Gunnery Sgt Scott Stalker, posted a video on social media calling Carlson’s show “drama TV” and said the journalist’s opinion is based on real zero-day service in armed forces. “
Carlson insisted on Thursday’s show that he did not have a “hateful prejudice against pregnant women flying military planes.”
And he added: ‘We are pro-pregnancy, as we often say, we are open-minded too.
‘Maybe pregnant women are the best pilots? The Department of Defense measures everything so that there should be extensive research on this question.
