Trump’s accusation lawyer Michael van der Veen’s house vandalized

The word ‘traitor’ was spray-painted on the front of the lawyer’s driveway.

Vandals targeted the home of one of former President Donald Trump’s indictments and spray-painted the word “TRAITOR” on the driveway of his suburban Philadelphia home, police said.

According to police, the vandalism took place around 8pm on Friday in the home of attorney Michael van der Veen in West Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania.

No arrests have been made, Detective Scott Pezick of the West Whiteland Township Police Department told the Associated Press. Pezick said that private security had since been rented by the homeowner to protect the home, and that the police presence in the van der Veen neighborhood had been intensified.

Van der Veen spent the week in Washington DC defending Trump against the indictment related to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol building. Trump was acquitted of the charge by the Senate on Saturday.
