Trump wax figure from Texas displayed after visitors attacked it – reports | Donald Trump

A wax figure of Donald Trump was taken from the display of an exhibit of wax works after visitors continued to attack it, local U.S. media reported.

“If it’s a very political figure, attacks can be a problem,” said Clay Stewart, regional manager of Ripley Entertainment, which owns Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in San Antonio, Texas.

According to the San Antonio Express News, the figure of the former US president apparently inflicted deep cuffs by customers at the museum who clawed it and punched it.

Stewart told the Express News: “We’ve always had problems with the presidential division because it was not exactly which president it was – Bush, Obama or Trump – they all beat. The ears were ripped off Obama six times. And then Bush’s nose was punched. ”

This is not the first time a statue of a Trump family member has been desecrated. A statue of former first lady Melania Trump in her native Slovenia has been removed after vandals set it on fire.

In a statement, Suzanne Smagala-Potts, public relations manager at Ripley Entertainment Inc., said the firm had no political backing and that the recovery of its public figures was widespread.

“If a wax figure is damaged, we will display the figure in public and send it to our talented artist team for repair,” Smagala-Potts said.
