Trump to speak at the White House during the CPAC conference in the first public appearance

Former President Trump will make his first major public appearance at the Conservative Political Conference (CPAC) conference later this month, Fox News has learned.

The 2021 CPAC conference, traditionally held outside Washington, DC, begins Thursday in Orlando, Florida.

Trump will talk about the future of the Republican Party and the Conservative movement. Also look at the 45th president to tackle President Biden’s ‘disastrous amnesty and border policy’, according to a source familiar with Trump’s speech.

Trump has remained relatively quiet since leaving the White House on January 20 for his Mar-a-lago resort in Florida and after Twitter banned him from the social media platform following the January 6 riots.

But Trump has indicated that he wants to remain politically active and told his supporters after his acquittal that the MAGA movement is still going strong.

“Our historic, patriotic and beautiful Movement to Make America Great Again (MAGA) has just begun,” he said in a statement last week. “In the coming months, I have a lot to share with you, and I look forward to continuing our incredible journey to achieve American greatness for all our people. There has never been such a thing!”

Fox News first reported in December that CPAC will be held February 25-28 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Florida.

The conference, first launched in 1974, has always been in or around Washington, DC. The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Maryland, just outside the District of Columbia, is home to CPAC. But the massive resort remained closed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Organizers told Fox News in December that the event, which drew nearly 20,000 people over its four days last year, would be held mostly indoors, with many virtual components, in the Hyatt Regency, a 1,641-room hotel that connected to the Orange County, Fla., Conference Center.
