DALLAS (AP) – Supporters of President Donald Trump got into a furious screaming match with other passengers on an American Airlines Washington plane after projecting a “Trump 2020” logo on the ceiling and walls of the cabin.
Trump supporters said a passenger was threatening to kill them, and there were screams back and forth. A flight attendant intervened and told one passenger in the hallway to sit down.
And so it begins.

The incident occurred Tuesday night after American’s flight 1291 from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport landed at Dulles International Airport outside Washington, DC and drove to the gate.
The scene was posted on Twitter by Maranie Staab, an independent journalist in Portland, Oregon, who says on her website that she focuses on human rights and social justice issues.
“Our team is reviewing this incident,” said American Airlines spokeswoman Curtis Blessing. “We welcome our outstanding crew members for their professionalism in reducing a tense situation on board and in bringing our customers safely to their destination.”
According to the American, law enforcers were not called and that passengers were de-planned and distributed without further incident.
