Former President Donald Trump gave a short speech on Friday during an apparently improvised appearance at a dog rescue at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, the local newspaper WPTV reported.
The fundraiser was led by Lauree Simmons, president and founder of Big Dog Ranch Rescue, who told WPTV that she was holding the fundraiser in hopes of raising $ 500,000 to use a plane to take dogs from dog meat farms into To pick up China.

Trump has made few public appearances since leaving office in January, plagued by scandal following his monthly refusal to admit his loss to President Joe Biden and the incitement of the January 6 riot in the US capital that left five people dead has.
The Senate could not convict Trump in February after his indictment by the House in January. Trump is the only president to have been charged twice.
Trump spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in February in his first speech since leaving the White House. During his speech, Trump made several false or misleading allegations and alluded to a 2024 presidency.
