Trump: FDA interrupting Johnson & Johnson was ‘terrible’, and has only benefits for Pfizer, Modern

Former President Donald Trump in an exclusive interview with “Hannity” on Monday made a horrific decision to temporarily withdraw the distribution of the vaccine for Johnson & Johnson coronavirus.

“I think it’s much more suspicious than they did with Johnson & Johnson,” he said. “Because the only people happy about it are Pfizer and Moderna … What they did is a terrible, terrible thing.”

The J&J vaccinations were interrupted after reports of blood clots began to appear in patients. According to the CDC, this side effect is ‘extremely rare’ which supports Trump’s argument that the FDA may be playing favorites.

“Pfizer is in the FDA,” he revealed. “And what the FDA did to Johnson and Johnson is so stupid … They interrupted it. It’s the worst thing you could do from a PR point of view.”

“They like Pfizer,” he continues. “They get along so well with Pfizer.”

Trump pointed out that the Pfizer vaccine was ready for distribution before the election, under the supervision of Operation Warp Speed, yet the company waited to announce its arrival on the market until two days after election day. He said bureaucrats in the FDA were “very slow” in the process.

The former president reflected on the start of a vaccine and said he met with the FDA and health leaders such as Dr. Anthony Fauci for a faster timeline for development and distribution.

“We did it in less than nine months. It would have taken at least three years,” he said. “I do not think they would have ever had a vaccine.”
