After Kim Kardashian-Wes was successful in lobbying President Trump to liberate Alice Marie Johnson, she went to work to do the same for many others, including Chris Young … and Trump delivered.
The Prez used his last day in office to allow pardon and commute, and among the list of inmates he converted is Young … who Kim started in 2018 champions.
As you may remember … Kim The White House visits in September 2018 – a few months after Alice’s release – to continue fighting for the reform of criminal justice, and she filed the case of Young.

Like Alice, Young was sentenced to life in prison in 2014 for non-violent drug offenses – weed and cocaine possession – as part of Tennessee’s three strikes law. He was then only 22.
Sources close to the situation tell TMZ … Kim has remained involved with Young’s legal team since her WH meeting and is still drawing attention to the matter. We said Alice was also involved in helping Chris – they share the same lawyer, Brittany Barnett.
The White House announcement says: ‘Mr. Young’s many supporters describe him as an intelligent, positive person who takes full responsibility for his actions … ‘While Kim was not mentioned under the various names of criminal justice advocates who helped Young, her strengthening of the case on social media definitely brought attention to it.
The statement reads that Young ‘lacked a meaningful first chance at life because of what another federal judge called an’ undeniably tragic childhood ‘. “The addition of the commutation gives Young a second chance.

BTW … Chris earned his GED and learned to code himself behind bars … so he would have a leg up in the job market.
