Trump bizarrely declares Georgia’s runoff ‘illegal and invalid’

President Trump tries to convince his followers that the special Senate election in Georgia is ‘illegal and invalid’ because of a strange conspiracy theory in the election, a move that could cause problems for the two Republicans with hopes of to win re-election. In a series of tweets late Friday, Trump falsely claimed that state lawmakers were “in no way responsible for the massive changes made to the voting process” and that the special election for Georgia’s two Senate seats is therefore invalid.
