Triple H explains why he turned down WrestleMania match against AJ-styles

AJ Styles worked for a match against Triple H during this year’s issue of WrestleMania, but the plans could not come together for this dream match.

During his recent media call to promote the upcoming NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver event, The Game talked about a number of things and explained why he turned down the offer for a fight against the Phenomenal One.

Triple H explained how AJ Styles wanted the fight and he kept asking the former world champion as the Show Of Shows approached. He revealed that he had not said no to the match in the beginning:

‘He bothered me every time I saw him! He would ask me about it and ask me about my schedule, and as we got closer, man, I’ve said it before, it’s something else to get ready for WrestleMania. And the older you get, the harder it gets.

“When he first came to me, I said, ‘AJ, I’m not going to tell you no. Personally I would like to work with you and at this point you can carry me to something. “So, I would like that. ”

Over time, however, Triple H realized he would not be able to get a match on the show. Although Styles had hoped until the last minute, the King Of Kings decided to cancel the plans:

‘There’s a part of me that wants to do it, and then there’s just a bigger part of me that says,’ I’m so busy 24/7 trying to think about how I can exercise the way I want to exercise and become in shape – and according to the shape, I do not mean look – in the shape annular so you do not embarrass yourself when you are at 52 there.

‘It’s a lot of work and I do not know what I have. I’m not afraid of work. If I could earn more hours in the day, I could get time to do it. It’s just time. ”

After AJ Styles received a negative response from Triple H, it is now planned to take part in a match for a tag team. He will work with Omos to challenge The New Day for the Raw tag team championships on night one of WrestleMania 37.
