Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio appeared in Burlington’s WBSX affiliate WCAX, a subsidiary of CBS’s evening news program, on Thursday to discuss the announcement that he and The Divided Sky Foundation are using an antidote to disorder. (SUD) in Ludlow, Vermont. Anastasio was asked when Phish would return to the stage. Trey’s reaction, including word plans, is constantly being discussed and he teased a secret. The guitarist said: “I hope we are back soon.”
“I actually think it’s going to happen,” Trey said of his and Phish’s return. “There’s a lot of talk about it and the landscape is changing … slowly, but there’s an end to the assumption that everyone takes it seriously.”
