The rapper is currently working with community figures and other charities to provide more meals to endangered residents living in a designated high-priority zip code.

Two of the organizations involved in the effort are The National Association of Christian Churches and The Black Service Chamber.

The North American Winter Storm from February 13 to 17, also referred to as Winter Storm Uri, began in the Northwest Pacific and quickly went to the songwriter’s home state of Texas.

Record low temperatures were recorded in much of the state, and blizzards devastated many endangered residents.

Severe conditions: Winter Storm Uri started earlier this month and is on its way to Scott's home state of Texas, where it is causing extreme weather conditions and causing widespread power outages.

Major power outages also occurred in many cities and communities, leaving thousands of people without water or electricity during the weather conditions.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a statement of disaster on February 12, which was approved by President Joe Biden two days later.

Although the Texas Electric Reliability Board restored electricity to about 600,000 Texans on February 17, the situation still remains millions of people.

According to NBC News, there were at least 8.8 million residents under boiling water orders last Sunday.

Houston and Austin were previously under water restrictions, although both cities were considered in a stable situation last week.

Scott founded the Cactus Jack Foundation last year with the goal of enriching the lives of young people in the Houston area.

The foundation’s first initiative was the launch of the HBCU Waymon Webster Scholarship Program, which aims to cover education for university students financially affected by the global pandemic.

Last December, the Sicko Mode songwriter organized a toy event in his hometown; Christmas trees and warm clothes were also distributed during the charity function.

Scott’s ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner and the couple’s daughter Stormi, three years old, also appeared during the toy ride.

The social media personality commemorated the event with a post in her Instagram story showing how her child supported her father during the function.
