Trading for a QB that looks more promising for the Steelers

When it comes to the NFL quarterfinals, it’s all going to fit. Trying to rank quarterly prospects for the NFL draft in general is one thing, but usually the rankings you see from NFL draft experts can vary greatly, but individual large boards of NFL teams are very specialized.

One thing we can say for sure, it feels like the first time the first round starts, four quarterbacks are coming off the board very quickly. Teams have moved to get to the top of the first round, and it’s safe to assume it’s one of the best signal callers.

However, if these concept experts can be expected, the fifth fullback in the draft could slide to the middle of the first round. Who is that fifth fullback? Depends on who you ask. At one point, it was definitely Alabama’s Mac Jones. Now it looks like he is an attraction and he will be the third fullback.

It leaves Ohio State’s Justin Fields and North Dakota State’s Trey Lance. Does it matter which man slips when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers? I would say no. Both players have the skill to thrive in a Matt Canada offense and will bring the Steelers offense into the present and be built for the future.

How far should the Steelers trade? Given the market, it should be okay to opt for number 10, and there is precedent for this kind of move by Pittsburgh if they identify a player they really think they need.

But I want to pass the question on to you. If Fields of Lance moves out of the top five, do you want the Steelers to swap and set it up? Let us know in the comments.
