The lawyer for 12 women who are sexually assaulted by NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson said in an Instagram post on Saturday that he would submit affidavits and evidence to support their case.
Tony Buzbee, who has so far filed seven lawsuits against the Texans quarterback, says his firm will file the material with the Houston Department of Police and the Houston District Attorney. He also said he would request that a grand jury consider the evidence.
“On the advice of a well-known criminal defense attorney: Our team will file affidavits and evidence of several women who experienced Deshaun Watson with the Houston Department of Police and the District Attorney in Houston on Monday morning,” Buzbee wrote. “We will request that a grand jury be decorated to consider the evidence we provide.”

Buzbee filed a further five lawsuits against Watson during a news conference on Friday.
The lawyer added that his law firm had spoken to ‘more than ten additional women’ who had made similar allegations against Watson. Many of the women are massage therapists, and one claims she was forced to perform oral sex on Watson.
Another of Watson’s defendants said that ‘it appears that Watson just wanted a massage – sex for some reason’, claiming that he acted in an ‘aggressive manner’ and had her with his genitals.
An NFL spokesman said Thursday that “the matter is under review,” while the Texans released a statement saying they would stay in touch with the league during the investigation.
Rusty Hardin, Watson’s attorney, said Friday his client will publicly address the charges of sexual assault in the coming days. TMZ Sports reported on Saturday that Watson is ‘determined’ that he did not plead guilty to the graphic allegations.
The website also added that the 25-year-old Watson ‘insists he never crossed the line with the alleged victims, and that he’ believes they are being led by a money-hungry lawyer looking for a payout. ‘

Watson, who colored a four-year extension worth $ 156 million in 2020, says TMZ does not want to reach monetary settlements with the women. Hardin said in a statement on Friday that the various allegations were “deserving” and asked people to “keep an open mind” until they publicly commented on a review.
