The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is already busy with dealer parties after the new off-road crossover went into production on October 26 at the Ford Hermosillo Assembly Plant in Mexico.de, 2020. But, Ford Authority recently saw a large number of 2021 Ford Bronco Sport models sitting outside the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant, where the Ford Ranger and Ford Bronco are manufactured.
While this may seem strange at first glance, it is likely that these Ford Bronco Sport models were completed at the Hermosillo plant and subsequently shipped to Michigan as a stopping point for distribution to dealers. Regardless, we bet this face is confusing to at least a few people who have passed by in recent days.
This is also not the first time that some new Blue Oval products have filled parking lots. In recent weeks, thousands of 2021 Ford F-150 models have been spotted at Detroit Metro Airport and Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant (as well as surrounding properties). According to Ford, the new pickups are early production models waiting for final quality checks before being shipped to dealers.
Meanwhile, the Bronco Sport, which shares a platform with the Ford Escape, yet differs dimensionally from the crossover, has so far proved very popular with buyers. Ford actually expects to sell out its big brother – the Ford Bronco in 2021 – despite the fact that more than 190,000 people have poured in $ 100 to reserve the latter.
However, one advantage that Bronco Sport has over the Bronco is the availability. Buyers can now buy a Sport, while the regular Bronco faces another delay due to COVID-19 supplier issues. The big Bronco also recently received a price push which, along with the delay, led to some booking holders canceling their plans to buy one. Bronco Sport also recently received a price increase, albeit a modest one.
