The longtime actor, known for his roles in ‘Top Gun’ and ‘Jerry Maguire’, listed his estate in Colorado for that huge price, the listing brokerage told The Post. This is the first time the property has been for sale to the public.
The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the news, reported that Cruise, 58, first hired a broker seven years ago to market the Telluride distribution for $ 59 million, although in ‘ a quiet silence was done.
“I’m not sure [Cruise] was ready to sell it yet, ”agent Eric Lavey of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty – which offers the estate at Dan Dockray – told the WSJ.
Cruise’s property spans 320 acres and is located in the mountains and was built for privacy. Cruise reportedly spent several years designing the stone and cedar house and completed it in 1994.
The list has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
The main house of almost 10,000 square meters contains decorative wood and stone details – including beautiful ceilings with wooden beams – a kitchen of the chef and large windows overlooking the mountains. In addition to the main house, the premises also contain a guest house with three bedrooms.
The list description also shows that Cruise’s home has several fireplaces, a fitness center, outdoor entertainment areas, and a three-car garage.
The estate is accessible via a 1-mile driveway behind a gate, and also has ‘extensive’ wooded walkways. And despite its seclusion, the property is near Telluride in the city center.
