Tom Brady’s knee surgery ‘more than just a little cleaning’: report

Tom Brady’s upcoming off-season surgery could be more serious than initial reports suggest.

A source told the Boston Globe on Thursday that the quarterback of Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the reigning Super Bowl MVP will need ‘more than just a little clearing’, unlike earlier reports that the operation called his knee minor.

“When it comes out, it’s all about making his legend even bigger,” the source said.

The remark raised questions about the severity of the injury. Sources told ESPN that the injury was not recent and that Brady had been planning the procedure for months, despite never being in the injury report all season.

He was a prop on his left during the Bucs’ festive parade of the Bucs on Wednesday.

Brady, who had just completed his first season in Tampa, led the Buccaneers to their first Super Bowl title since 2002. In the big game, Brady completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards with three touchdowns when the Bucs to a dominant 31-9 rol. victory over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

He finished the regular season with 4,633 passing steps, 40 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions.
