Tom Brady’s desecrated and despised ‘designer’s daughter Lombardi Trophy

The Tom Brady Lombardi trophy that took place during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl LV boat parade immediately went viral and many fans were impressed with the Hall of Fame quarterback’s future throw across the water.

But one woman feels that she does not respect Brady.

Lorraine Grohs, the daughter of Greg Grohs, the silversmith at Tiffany and Company from 1967 to 1994, who produced the very first Vince Lombardi trophy, was offended by Brady’s decision to throw the Lombardi trophy. And now she apologizes to the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

“I personally want to apologize, not only to me and my family and the other silversmiths, but also to the fans, all the football fans and the other team players,” Grohs told Fox4.

“It just upset me that this trophy was violated and despised by being thrown like it was a real football,” Grohs added. “I have a great history that this trophy was made by my father, and it’s such an honor and I know all the craftsmen who made it when my father was also there at Tiffany’s, and it takes a lot of hard work.”

Grohs said she had sleepless nights because she was upset about what happened.

“I saw this trophy made in the factory in Tiffany, and it’s a beautiful trophy,” Grohs explained. “My father had to chisel the seams, he had to chisel the seams by hand. There is a newspaper article showing how he works on the trophy. The ball is shaped by hand and so is the base.”

Grohs added that she does not like the sport much, but that she wants to wait until the end of the game to hand over the Lombardi trophy to the Super Bowl champion.

“I’m just watching the game to see how the trophy comes out,” Grohs said. “I like to see all the owners and the footballers hold it out with so much pride and keep showing it to everyone, and I’re getting chicken skin …. I’m getting chicken skin right now.”

Brady and the Bucs started with a 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.
