There’s a new chapter in the ongoing word battle between sports media personality Colin Cowherd and Browns fullback Baker Mayfield. None other than Tom Brady entered himself into the incessant barrage of criticism directed by Cowherd at Mayfield.
When Cowherd – predictably – was behind Mayfield for number 6’s tweet about possibly a UFO, Brady unexpectedly transferred to Mayfield’s defense in a tweet of his own.
Cowherd said: ‘Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw and Tom Brady have never seen strangers. I would prefer that my guys not talk about it. ”
It caught Brady’s attention, and the Super Bowl award-winning QB took it upon himself to get Cowherd to stop the senseless, incessant hatred he was expressing at Mayfield.
It’s not always easy for Browns fans to like Tom Brady, but this is one case where Cleveland should greet TB12.
