Tom Brady finally responds to all the anger surrounding his crazy throw of the Lombardi Trophy at the parade

It’s been almost two weeks since Tom Brady decided to go a little crazy by throwing the Lombardi Trophy off his boat at the Buccaneers Super Bowl parade. In the time since his drunkenness, many people have shared their feelings about it – not everyone was a fan – but one person we have not heard of his Brady.

Although Brady had a bit of fun on Twitter after the parade by mocking himself over his apparent drunkenness, the quarterback has never said or written anything about how he feels about his throwing of the Lombardi Trophy. However, that changed over the weekend when Brady first mentioned the throw on social media.

During one of his Instagram stories – and just for the record, Brady posts many Instagram stories – the quarterback shared a picture where he called the trophy toss “the most risky pass I’ve thrown all season.”

I will go on and agree with Brady on the fact that this was his most risky pass of the season.

If you throw a pass on an NFL field, the risk is very small. There can be two bad things: it will be intercepted or incomplete. On the other hand, if you throw a Lombardi trophy during a parade, there can be a lot of bad things: Brady could have dropped the trophy on his foot, he could have thrown the trophy into the water, he could have had the trophy someone’s head burst open. Throwing a trophy over any body of water is also a low percentage, especially if you are drunk.

Even Brady’s daughter thought throwing was a bad idea. You can hear her screaming “nooooo” in the video below.

Of course, this story has a happy ending because Brady has managed to get under pressure like he always does. The 43-year-old threw a perfect pass caught by Cameron Brate, which was good news for Brate as he was ready to retire if he did not come with the reception.

“If I had given it up? I think I should have retired,” Brate said after the parade. “It was amazing. He aimed it at me. We talked about it earlier. It was a great throw. I mean, what do you expect from Tom Brady? A good throw.”

Brady was certainly aware of the risk involved, as a later video showed the quarterback laughing about one of the scenarios that could play out on the throw.

‘If it hits your face, it’s would have been a disaster, ‘Said Brady.

The good news for Brady and Brate is that the disaster has been averted, meaning the two will now be remembered for grabbing the biggest throw-and-catch of the Lombardi trophy in Super Bowl parade history.
