Tinsley Mortimer’s walk through the hallway was cut short.

The former star of ‘The Real Housewives of New York’, 45, and the founder of CouponCabin, Scott Kluth, have ended their engagement, People reported on Thursday.

Kluth, 40, told the publication in a statement: ‘After 14 months of engagement, Tinsley and I ended our relationship and we have been living independently for the past few months. It was an incredibly difficult decision, but I think it’s the best for both of us. I will always care for Tinsley and sincerely wish her luck and success with everything she does in the future. ”

“While I understand that this news will be interesting to many people, I ask for privacy and understanding during this time as I continue to recover emotionally toward the end of our relationship,” he concluded.

A source told the publication Mortimer was ‘blinded’ and ‘crushed’ by the collapse.

Kluth and Mortimer met on ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ after Carole Radziwill introduced them on a blind date. They dated on and off until Kluth finally released the question in November 2019 with an extensive proposal for Christmas theme.

Mortimer left the Bravo series and moved to Chicago to be with Kluth after accepting his offer. Her initial plans for their wedding were derailed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Fans of ‘RHONY’ will remember that Mortimer has been planning her wedding for some time. Her mother, Dabney Mercer, went to buy her a wedding dress while she was on the show, which led to a scene of the couple crying over Mortimer’s frozen eggs while Mortimer tried on a gown.

Mortimer was previously married to Topper Mortimer.
