Social media sensation Dazharia, known online as Bxbygirlldee, passed away on Monday, February 8, at the age of 18.
The teen’s parents confirmed the news of their daughter’s death on Tuesday, February 9 in a statement posted on their GoFundMe page.
“On February 8, my daughter Dazharia left us early and they were called to fly with the angels,” Joseph Santiago, Dazharia’s father, shared. ‘She was my little best friend and I was in no way prepared to bury my child. She was so happy and would be so excited to see me when I get home. [sic]”
“I just wish she would have talked to me about her stress and the thoughts of suicide. We can work through this,” he added. “I just want to hold my little jelly bean for you again. Now I’m coming home and you will no longer be there waiting for me. I have to make you fly with the angels. Daddy loves you. [sic]”

At the moment, E! News did not confirm the cause of death of the native in Louisiana. We reached out to the Baton Rouge police station and medical coroner for further information and have not yet received a response.
Jennifer Shaffer, the internet personality’s mother, also expressed her sadness in a Facebook message on 9 February.
‘I’m so sad,’ she begins her message, ‘I really can not believe you’re going. I wish I had been waiting for you to say that it was a prank, but that it was not I would want to die instead of you. ..ripe my angel. Everyone talks about our bad times, but never talks about the good times #babygirldee. [sic]”
Joseph later thanked his daughter’s fans for their kind messages in a TikTok message and wrote: “I just want to thank everyone for their love and support of my daughter. She is unfortunately no longer with us and is going to a better place then.”
He also shared a video collage showing images of Dazharia as a child and teenager.
The social media star had more than one million followers on TikTok and more than one hundred thousand Instagram followers. Her YouTube channel had nearly a hundred thousand subscribers.
At the moment, it appears that the family of Dazharia is arranging a memorial service.
