Tiger Woods drove on a crooked road a few minutes before a horrific accident

Tiger Woods caught a camera driving on a crooked and winding road in a Los Angeles area area before crashing and sustaining multiple leg injuries.

TMZ Sports got the video late Tuesday, showing the 2021 Genesis GV80 SUV driving behind a minibus at about 07:05 local time, on Hawthorne Blvd near Rancho Palos Verdes.

The SUV has the same Genesis Invitational badges on the door that can be seen at Woods’ crash scene. Woods was in town for the event.

The footage does not show the actual accident, but rather the vehicles climbing up a steep point. On the other hand, cyclists ride downhill. At first glance, it looked like the vehicle was accelerating fast or swinging uncontrollably.

It is unclear who was in the minibus in front of Woods.

According to police, Woods crashed around 7:12 a.m. local time.

Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva said Woods was driving at a ‘relatively higher speed than normal’ when he crashed into a hilly area and that Woods was driving north when he hit a center divider and a few hundred feet flew. He noted that there was no evidence of deterioration when emergency services personnel arrived.

“[The vehicle] crossed the middle divider, to the point that it rested a few hundred feet further, indicating that it was going relatively – a greater speed than normal. “Because it’s downhill, it slopes and curves too,” Villanueva said. The area has many accidents. This is not uncommon. ‘

He added that the front of the vehicle was ‘totally destroyed’, but that the interior was ‘more or less intact’.

Deputy Carlos Gonzalez, who was among the first emergency personnel to arrive on the scene, said Woods knows where he is and what time it is on the day. He described Woods as ‘calm and clear’.

Two sources told Fox News Woods will partner with Discovery Networks to do behind-the-scenes ‘lessons’ with several stars, including NFL’s Drew Brees and Justin Herbert.
